The container once held deli olives. They love oranges, grape jelly and water. Baltimore orioles often fly by my house and I always leave out strawberry and grape jelly for them.

The others are Baltimore Orioles - one on the pole of the lamp is the male and the one eating the orange is the female.

I think their exotic orange plumage makes them look like they belong in a rain forest instead of the United States and Canada.
