Out of the oven, drizzle on lemon juice and/or add more chives to taste plus whatever else you like on your crab cakes.
We like to start with a hot pan on top of the stove until the underside of the crab cakes are golden brown. The best time (except for football season) was summer, when my sister. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
